apr15.ca is a “Verified Authorize.Net Merchant” What does that mean to you, the customer? Peace of mind!

We believe that customers engaging in Internet transactions need to know that their private information is shared only with those whom they choose. Authorize.net’s SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) Web Server Certificates provide secure, authenticated communication in on-line applications.

A web server certificate is a digital document containing unique codes that identify the holder of the certificate to the person accessing the site. Authorize.Net’s Web Server Certificates use the most current and secure 128-bit encryption technology developed. They support 1024-bit key lengths and 128-bit SSL connections for 128-bit SSL compatible web servers and 128-bit SSL web browsers.

The digital certificate allows apr15.ca to verify our identity to our customers in an online transaction. When used in combination with encryption, as ours is, it also allow us to encrypt information that you send to provide additional assurance that only the intended party can access the data and that the data will not be compromised enroute.

You may view information about our certificate from your browser window when you are on a secure page by selecting “Properties” under the “File” menu in Internet Explorer or by selecting “Page Info” under the “View” menu in Netscape Navigator. Also, the secure page itself has features that let you know it is secure. For example, the URL changes from http://www.apr15.ca to https://www.apr15.ca  Additionally, a lock symbol appears in the lower left-hand status bar of Netscape Navigator and in the lower right-hand status bar of Internet Explorer.
